On June 29, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated their love at The Astoria in Grijó. This venue, carefully managed by the Histórias com Alma, provided the perfect setting for this special day.

The preparations began in the middle of the day. In her bedroom, Marzia entrusted herself to the care of Di Pinho Makeup, who enhanced her natural beauty with a delicate makeup look and an elegant hairstyle. Meanwhile, on the other side of the house, Miguel put on his Amour Glamour suit, attentive to every detail, anticipating the moment he would see his bride for the first time.

At 3 pm, the Tiago Sousa Wedding Photography team arrived, ready to record every detail of this memorable day. From the first nervous glances before the ceremony to the fine details of the floral decoration, every moment was documented so the couple could relive these memories over the years.

The ceremony began at 5 pm in the heart of The Astoria’s garden. The path to the altar, lined with soft rugs, and decorated with white flowers and wooden seats, gave a rustic and welcoming touch, creating the perfect setting for our couple to exchange vows.

Celebrant Mariano Sarno conducted the ceremony in Portuguese and Italian to ensure that every moment was even more special, guiding the bride and groom through a journey of love and commitment.

Bouquet by Sublime

After the ceremony, appetizers were served. Guests were treated to the music of a live saxophonist from Feedback Produções, who set the perfect tone for a relaxing sunset.

The ribbon game was one of the highlights of an afternoon full of fun and good energy, which continued with dance and games as the day slowly turned into night.

As the day drew to a close, everyone headed to the dining room, delicately decorated by the Histórias com Alma team, to enjoy dinner. The menu, carefully chosen by the bride and groom, reflected their taste, and in the best company, time flew by. By the end, a two-tiered cake by the Cake Shop marked the cake-cutting moment.

The ball opened with a dance from Marzia and her father, followed by the bride and groom’s first dance, kicking off a long night of partying.

This was another wonderful wedding that we were lucky enough to be a part of, helping to make Marzia and Miguel’s day not just another celebration but a unique milestone in their history. Together we worked to ensure that every detail reflected the essence of the couple, turning their dream into an unforgettable reality. For us, it was a privilege to be by their side and be able to help create memories that will last forever.

Industrial style wedding ?! A must-have of decor! https://www.getmarried.pt/en/2018/06/14/casamento-estilo-industrial-o-must-have-da-decoracao/ https://www.getmarried.pt/en/2018/06/14/casamento-estilo-industrial-o-must-have-da-decoracao/#respond Thu, 14 Jun 2018 15:56:07 +0000 http://www.getmarried.pt/?p=2210 Industrial style weddings are the latest trend in terms of decor. The industrial or urban style was born in the 50’s in New York, when young artists began to install in large factories to live, which made these spaces gain a new aesthetic trend.

The best of this style is that it perfectly combines two styles, which we love, the rustic that can combine with a modern environment with furniture worn in metallic tones and vintage.

Years later this trend was extended to the world of weddings. Have you ever imagined celebrating your day in buildings where beams, plumbing, or brick walls are in sight?

We suppose not, but let yourself be rendered by these images:

If you opt for industrial style, you should not abuse the decorative elements and the choice of the pieces must be made in a judicious way, being able to opt for antique furniture, metal chairs, wooden pallets, contrasting with candles, glass jars with flowers .. .

The metallic details such as gold, silver, copper and rosé gold give the industrial touch, leaving us completely surrendered to the contemporary style.

Bet on green foliage, large, small, on walls or even in small pots. If they have flowers, don’t abuse and opt for sober tones.

A wedding of this style can be realized in a space with rustic skewers, warehouses, spaces of minimalist environment … The romantic climate, delicate and full of sophistication is left to give way to a decoration with more personality. It is perfect for the most modern  brides and grooms, who seek to escape the standards of marriage in an environment with an innovative proposal.

Lighting is important to maintain the decorating mood. Ideally use gambiarra lights; fairy lights, which by being delicate can put them in the arrangements and even create a lighted wall like a modernized backdrop; metallic pendants and candles, these specially placed strategically to romanticize the environment.

Fairy lights have become so popular in wedding decorations that they are already considered a must-have item and their origin is precisely the industrial style and the old factories. It is a super stylish detail that can be explored in a variety of ways, even if the decor does not follow the industrial style. Regardless of the decorating proposal, they are extremely democratic and guarantee an infinite freedom of creations.

Like it as much as we like ?! Enjoy and be inspired, because the decoration will be beautiful !

Elopement Wedding https://www.getmarried.pt/en/2018/06/08/elopement-wedding/ https://www.getmarried.pt/en/2018/06/08/elopement-wedding/#respond Fri, 08 Jun 2018 12:20:29 +0000 http://www.getmarried.pt/?p=2184 Elopement Wedding, a wedding to two, perfect for anyone who wants to live the moment full of intensity. a moment lived only for two, this is a concept sought by couples who intend not to spend a lot of money, but don’t give up the celebration.

To elop means to escape and not return to the point of origin, the term in the nuptial world has turned into an “escape” for engaged couples who want to marry in super intimate ceremonies.

This type of celebration, in general, only counts on the bride and groom, the celebrant and the photographer. Many couples choose special locations for both or take advantage of to organize a super special trip to get married in a wedding destination.

Some couples later have a larger, more relaxed party, to “communicate” the celebration to family and friends. Others just gather close friends and family to show the wedding photos and video.

This concept is great for those who don’t see a traditional celebration or don’t imagine with such a complex organization. But it isn’t because an elopement is intimate that is less special because it requires organization and good professionals and a perfect design of what the couple wants for their day. As a rule, it results in super-exciting, super-personalized and gorgeous weddings.

But the idea of Wedding Elopment goes beyond economics and practicality, as the couple wants intensity, depth, meaning and intimacy!

The purpose of this type of ceremony is to provide the couple with a unique and intense experience of celebration of love and complicity.

The Elopement in Brazil has more and more fans, but this concept has gained wings and by now there is already a certain curiosity.

Around here, we are anxious to perform a Wedding Elopement and while it doesn’t happen we leave you a video of our Brazilian colleagues Lorena Rodrigues and Junia Lane of Lápis Noiva. https://lapisdenoiva.com/
